One pump isn’t like another
Pumps can vary widely in their technical construction. There are centrifugal pumps, reciprocating pumps, rotary pumps, peristaltic pumps, and many more. The requirements vary for different markets which can be very challenging. Environmental conditions such as humidity, heat, frost, as well as life cycle and mounting space requirements, all demand high flexibility of the pump and drive.
In order to offer our customers quick support in selecting a suitable drive, it is important for us to have a wide assortment of drives to offer.
What it means to have a wide assortment:
- EC and DC motors must be in the line-up, and different sizes. Bühler Motor offers motors with diameters ranging from 23 mm to 63 mm with an output power of max. 300 watts (nominal power).n.
- In addition, we can offer different construction types and sizes in our gear units (e.g., planetary, spur, and angular gears). Our gear units cover a nominal torque range up to 50 Nm.
„All of our products can be modified specifically for the customer.“

- Many of the above-mentioned products that are part of our standard line-up can be supplied quickly from stock.
Fulfilling requirements for a specific market requires an extremely high degree of adaptability. This is precisely our strength as a pump producer. All of our products can be modified specifically for the customer. For instance, if you need a reinforced bearing to handle the radial forces of a reciprocating pump, we can come up with a solution for you.
Everything is possible: standard products, modified standard products, or customer-specific new developments. The only other consideration is that the required functionality must always satisfy economic aspects. That is the foundation for successful collaboration. We would be glad to talk about what we can do for you!
